Our Team 

Travis Friesen

Travis co-founded Friesen Landscaping in January 2010 and has been a part of the landscape industry for over 25 years. He received a degree in Horticulture from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in 1998. Travis meets with clients, bids projects, manages projects, oversees all crews, and manages business operations. He is also ICPI Certified (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute). In Travis’ spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and hunting.

Dani Friesen

Dani Friesen co-founded Friesen Landscaping in January 2010 and has over a decade of hands-on experience in the landscaping industry. She manages the office, marketing, HR, and anywhere else that is needed. Her favorite part about managing this business is watching our team members succeed and grow in their roles. Her favorite thing to do in her spare time is spending time outdoors with her family.

Ted Hilger

Ted started in June 2021, and is thankful for the opportunity to work with a neighbor and friend. He enjoys fishing and spending time with his grandkids.

Alex Anderson

Alex started in April 2022. He enjoys being able to create patios and seeing the project from start to finish. He also likes the opportunity to go out of town on projects.

Chris Meza

Chris started in March 2021, and is currently a student at UNL, majoring in Construction Management. Chris is thankful that Friesen Landscaping has given him the experience he needed to help pick his major.

Tyler Tikalsky

Graci Escobar

Graci received her bachelor’s degree in General Studies in 2017 and has since worked in several different offices and businesses as an assistant. She enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers and helping the business run smoothly. A lifelong love of flowers and appreciation for hard work led her to Friesen Landscaping in August 2023. When she’s at home, she loves to spend time on her patio with her two cats, Wynnie and Mina, as well as go on adventures with her family and friends.

Brody Amen

Brody studied at Southeast Community College and started working at Friesen Landscaping in September of 2025. He enjoys spending his free time with his family.

Heath Pumel

Heath started in October 2025. He is a small-town, hard-working kid from Holland, NE. He went to the Norris School District and in his free time likes to fish, shoot trap, and play music.

Brayden Behrends

Brayden started in October 2025 and is from Syracuse, NE. He grew up loving the outdoors and spends as much time as possible outside, especially hunting.
